HydraMix added to portland cement Pool Finish “mix water” will convert conventional mix designs to high-performance mix designs, generating the production of a pool finish that is extraordinarily hard, dense and impermeable.
HydraMix utilization in batching portland cement pool finish significantly reduces the finish’s total air-void content as it greatly improves its workability, and significantly lowers the loss of water volumes. This action aids in the placement of finishes during hot and sunny days which will slow or stop shrinkage crack potential.
Hydramix in the finish mix water will result in denser, more impermeable, and significantly more durable pool finish that has greater resistance to acid and chemical contaminate ingress, giving the pool finish a “buffer zone” of protection.>>>
DIS
DEEP INTEGRAL SEALER
DIS is considered to be the best curing method on the market today. When DIS is applied to concrete, it will penetrate deeply through the porosity and capillary system, forming as the water left at placement. DIS reacts with the concrete’s unbound free constituents, such as unused calcium hydroxide residue and alkali. This reaction converts DIS, which is virtually zero in solids, to a 100% colloidal silicate precipitate (gel) that is internally generated and insoluble. This insoluble gel that the DIS forms becomes a very unique colloidal barrier that will halt, or minimize some of the concrete’s challenges like ASR, excessive water migration, topical coating and flooring damage, and acid / chemical damage. DIS is very versatile, it addresses efflorescence, hardens the surface, and waterproofs concrete and swimming pool shells. >>>
